Abstract Submission guidelines

MINET Conference: Measurement, Sensation and Cognition

 

Please submit an abstract of 1 page or more (maximum of 4 pages).

Abstracts will be printed in the conference digest, and may be placed on the MINET website after the workshop.

Style guide:

  • Title: Times New Roman, 14 pt font, bold
  • Main body of text: Times New Roman, 12 pt font
  • Section headings: Times New Roman, 12 pt font, bold
  • Single column
  • Justify column
  • Left and right margins of 3.17 cm
  • Diagrams must be suitable for printing in black and white
  • Please include the following information immediately below the title:

  • Name and affiliation of the authors
  • Email address of the main author
  • Submission:

    Please send an email with your abstract (in Microsoft Word® format) attached to minetworkshop4@npl.co.uk. In the body of the email include a postal address and telephone number and state who the copyright resides with otherwise we assume it resides with the authors.

    Please indicate in your email whether you prefer to give an oral presentation or poster (it is possible to have a practical demonstration table if required during the poster session).

    Speaker information:

    We expect to make the workshop digest and PowerPoint® presentations available on the MINET website after the workshop. Authors of accepted papers will be expected to supply a suitable version of their presentation and complete and sign two copies of the permission to publish form and return to:

    Key dates:

    Please submit your abstract by Friday 24th July 2009.

    Authors will be notified of the technical committee’s decision by 18th September 2009.
