26-29 August 2008
Maastricht, The Netherlands
Measuring Behavior 2008, the 6th international conference on methods and techniques in behavioral research, is the premier interdisciplinary event for scientists and practitioners concerned with the study of human or animal behavior. This unique conference focuses on methods, techniques and tools in behavioral research in the widest sense, from behavioral ecology to neuroscience, and from physiology to ergonomics. In doing so, Measuring Behavior responds to a growing need to cross disciplines and create bridges between them; the increasing number of participants in previous meetings shows the great success of this interaction between research fields.
Symposium on “Measuring the Impossible”
A symposium on “Measuring the Impossible” is being organised within this conference, at which papers will be presented on the Measuring the Impossible (MtI) projects, with an emphasis on the techniques used to measure complex phenomena that are mediated by human perception and interpretation. This will be an excellent opportunity to learn about the latest developments in the EU NEST-MtI projects in addition to learning about the most up-to-date information in behavioural research, that will be presented at the rest of the conference.
